What else can a good joke do?

Over the past years, East African Comedy has shown immense growth and gained popularity, producing some of the best comedians Africa has ever seen. Comedians have creatively turned normal everyday happenings into artistic expressions, thereby inspiring the continent at large.

Seka Live, the biggest comedy show in Rwanda is returning back on 24 November, and with more than four successful seasons, it can only get better.

Seka Live is a comedy show that brings the best of local and regional comedians and musicians on the same stage to turn life into artistic expressions of humor.

It is organized by a local entertainment company called Arthur nation, founded by a local comedian, actor, and radio personality, Arthur Nkusi.

About people who will bless Seka Live stage, Arthur Nkusi said that comedians such as Klint the Drunk from Nigeria will be on the stage to give the comedy lovers a night to remember.

Also lined up to crack ribs is Dr. Ofweneke, another outstanding Kenyan standup comedian, actor, and motivational speaker who is famously known on a dating TV show called Mrs. Right.

Rwandan comedians like the Seke Rising Star, Missed Call, Patric, Mercy, and Divin will also bless the stage on the night of Seka Live.

As Arthur Nkusi mentioned, they haven’t yet come up with a decisive venue, as they are still looking at two options at the moment. But they will definitely let the public know once they have made the final decision on the venue.

The show will focus on showcasing new talents of aspiring young Rwandan comedians and musicians and also giving the comedy lovers the laughs they are looking for.

Nep Djs and Neptunez Band famously known for their performances in Kigali Jazz Junction will also bless the stage of Seka Live on the 24th of November.

Laughter is the best medicine and East Africa has the best doctors. Seka Live makes people’s night; for a while, everyone forgets and evolves so that they won’t have to hit each other with sticks of insult.
